A Sustainability Pledge

Des Moines, Iowa (August 10, 2015) – The American Institute of Architects, Iowa Chapter (AIA Iowa) welcomes their second member display at their office in downtown Des Moines. Throughout the year, AIA Iowa will feature the work of member firms- a new firm each month. The new exhibitor, OPN Architects, wrote the following about their display:

“OPN Architects is excited to have the opportunity to showcase the great strides architects are making toward a more sustainable built environment. The display showcases just a few examples of the positive effects sustainable design has had on the environment. OPN is a pledge of the 2030 challenge, and takes pride in its commitment to implement sustainable practices on every project. It’s up to all of us to protect our planet and we’re optimistic our installation will inspire the community to take sustainable actions in their own lives.”

Displays are open to the public at 400 Locust Street, Suite 100 and can be seen while visiting the newly renovated Cowles Commons.
