Architect Recognized for Public Service in the Fort Dodge Community


Fort Dodge, Iowa (April 30, 2013)Terry Allers, AIA, NCARB, a member of the American Institute of Architects, Iowa Chapter (AIA Iowa) has been recognized as a participant in the AIA Iowa Citizen Architect Program by AIA Iowa for his service to the community of Fort Dodge.


Allers, of Allers Associates Architects, was appointed president of the Iowa Architectural Examining Board, which regulates the practice of architecture in the state of Iowa and is associated with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).  He has been nominated by three different governors in Iowa over the past several years and is currently serving his third 3-year term.  He is also Vice President of Region 4 of the NCARB where he had served on several committees over the past six years.
