Presentation Information:

Integration of Safety Standards Site/Climate Conditions with Gates & Automation

AIA HSW accredited presentation – 1 hour (CEU)

This presentation will provide a better understanding of how UL325/ASTM F2200 Safety Standards, vehicular safety, site and climate conditions will impact automated vehicular gates and access controls. All persons attending this presentation qualify for ONE HOUR of continuing education (including HSW) credit through the AIA program.

In order to specify the proper gate automation and access controls, we need to understand how the site and climate conditions will impact the proper selection of equipment and impacting the systems overall performance. Understanding the customer needs and expectations is critical in order to design the proper system as well as integrating UL325/ASTM F2200 Safety Standards for vehicular automated gates, and more importantly for pedestrian safety

The following learning objectives will be met –
 UL325/ASTM F2200 Safety Standards for Automated Gates
 Vehicle Safety for Automated Gates
 Impact of Site & Climate Conditions on Gates and Safety
 Customer Application Requirements
 Proper Gate Automations Selections
