Learning Objectives: To demonstrate the versatile uses for spray applied acoustic finishes in architectural
applications from noisy industrial sites, restaurants and educational spaces to churches and performing arts
facilities. Noise can cause hearing loss, interfere with speech intelligibility, raise blood pressure, interfere
with sleep, interfere with concentration, cause fatigue and can even cause an increase in aggressive
behavior. Spray-applied acoustic finishes are well suited for both new construction and retrofit projects. In
fact, the number of retrofit applications being done is a strong indicator of a need for better architectural
awareness of the effects of noise on people inside buildings.

This course covers information that can be applied to all acoustical products.
