The AIA Iowa Board of Directors and Chapter Leaders meet annually to review the current state of activity, future activity, and the strategic plan of the Chapter. The Board of Directors establishes the organization’s direction and vision, determine, and advance the Chapter’s mission and purposes, ensures effective organizational planning, adequate resources, resource and financial oversight, to determine, monitor and enhance programming and services, promote the organization’s image, ensure legal and ethical integrity and maintain accountability, and recruit and orient new board members and assess board performance.
