Due to the contributions of many AIA Iowa members, government affairs chair Bill Dikis, FAIA, lobbyist Paula Dierenfeld, and AIA Iowa staff, the 2014 Legislative Session produced many successful outcomes for the Chapter and the profession of architecture in our great state. Our main achievement was the passage of our Good Sam bill. In addition to this, there were nine other areas that have been deemed progressive for the profession. Please log in using your member information and review the Official 2014 AIA Iowa Legislative Report.
The AIA has released their latest Progress Report entitled, Redesigning to Your Specifications. This report not only reflects on the activities during the past year and how the AIA is advancing architecture, but also a declaration of how AIA is turning a new direction. To view the full report visit Progress.AIA.org.
