Architect Recognized for Public Service in Sioux City

Sioux City, Iowa (April 3, 2017) – Matt Basye, AIA, a member of the American Institute of Architects, Iowa Chapter (AIA Iowa) has been recognized as a participant in the AIA Iowa Citizen Architect Program by AIA Iowa for service to the Sioux City area.
Basye, of FEH DESIGN in Sioux City, serves as a Board member of the Sioux City Public Library Foundation. Established in 1986, the Sioux City Public Library Foundation provides yearly funding for collection development, building enhancements, technology improvements, staff funding and special projects. As a Board Member, Matt advocates for library programs, services and funding; advocates for literacy issue; provides guidance on financial issues and investments; assists in planning and implementing fundraising activities/events; advises the board on facility needs and project planning, and offers professional guidance/planning for renovation projects. Matt has been a member of the board for over 10 years.
