Blueprint for America Mosaic
The AIA has some exciting news to share with you. The Blueprint for America Mosaic will be viewed around the globe – on Google Earth! Beginning this April, GoogleEarth will publish an
AIA layer as part of its Featured Content section in Google Earth. Google Earth is a free download to everyone and reaches more than 300 million users across the world.
The AIA layer will be launched with Blueprint for America projects and America’s Favorite Architecture projects. We envision each Blueprint project having an AIA place mark on Google Earth along with a pop up information bubble. The bubble will include information, pictures, and links related to the projects. To see an example, you can view existing layers such as National Geographic or the Discovery Network. Both can be found in the GoogleEarth layers.
If you have any questions, please contact David Downey ddowney@aia.org or Danielle Eugene deugene@aia.org for more information.
