You are invited to attend the next AIA Iowa Professional Development Seminar on August 13 entitled Foundation of Historic Rehabilitation: Secretary of Interior Standards for Historic Rehabilitation. This seminar is hosted by AIA Iowa and the Iowa Historic Preservation Alliance. Attendees will earn 3.5 AIA HSW/SD Learning Units. Presenters include Judy McClure, AIA, who specializes in historic preservation, Jack Porter, Preservation Consultant for the state Historic Preservation office, and Chris Wand, AIA, LEED AP of Durrant in Dubuque. A continental breakfast will be provided. Cost is $59 for members and $99 for nonmembers by the end of the day on August 6th.

Learning Objectives
By attending this seminar you will be able to...

• interpret the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation;
• apply the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Rehabilitation into project design; 
• complete the scope of work description sections of historic rehabilitation financial incentives forms;
• compare and evaluate the various financial incentive programs available for historic rehabilitation projects; 
• analyze correct and incorrect procedures undertaken on rehabilitation projects.
